Latin UK Awards 2015 gala to be held in Koko theatre on 13 May

Britain's most popular Latin personalities, musicians, sports people and dancers have been announced by The Latin UK Awards (LUKAS) 2015, after two months public voting and the verdicts of expert judges.

Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and Dominican Republic are the leading Latin nations for their cultural contribution to the UK.

Britain's most popular Latin Dance Performers are revealed today in the Latin-UK Awards 2014 (The LUKAS).  Winners were chosen after two months of voting by the British public and the verdicts of a panel of expert judges.

Liverpool FC's Luis Suárez has won the Latin Sports Personality of the Year, the Latin-UK Awards (LUKAS) announces today, after two months public voting and the verdicts of expert judges. The 27-year old striker from Uruguay, who developed his skills on the streets of Montevideo, is currently the Premier League's top scorer. Last month saw his 100th Premier League performance and his sixth hat-trick. He also broke the club record of 28 goals in a season to help take Liverpool to the top of the league.

Internationally acclaimed Bolivian classical pianist and child prodigy Ana-Maria Vera was chosen as Britain's favourite Latin classical musician after two months of voting by the public and the verdicts of a panel of expert judges in the Latin-UK Awards 2014 (The LUKAS).

The surprise winner in the Spanish Restaurant of the Year category is The 302 in the Spanish-owned H10 Waterloo Hotel, beating favourites Iberica, Brindisa and Tapas Revolution.

After two months of voting and verdicts submitted by a panel of expert judges, the Latin-UK Awards 2014 (better known as The LUKAS) has announced the British public's favourite Latin and Spanish music.
