Steve Lewinson is a musician, producer, songwriter, composer and musical director, who has worked with some of the world's most artistically and commercially successful artists, including Herbie Hancock, Annie Lennox, Massive Attack, Amy Winehouse, Ricky Martin, George Michael, Sade, Kylie Minogue, Anita Baker and Simply Red, with whom he continues to tour. He has contributed to many award winning records, as well as to film soundtracks and theatre and opera productions. Lewinson was part of the 'golden generation' of British Jazz musicians that emerged in the 80s and included Courtney Pine, Julian Joseph and Steve Williamson, going on to carve out a successful career in pop music, but never losing his appreciation for Jazz.
