Promoting and producing live music for over 25 years across Europe and Brazil, British-Cariocan Manitu has straddled between the UK and Brazil his whole life, with a long run in Rio de Janeiro from early adolescence through to his late twenties. Having lived and breathed music all of his life, this percussionist and songwriter is now director of Backstage Productions, Europe's leading promoter of Brazilian music, just this year bringing to Europe the likes of Roberto Carlos, Criolo and Djavan.
